Your space in class will be reserved upon payment for the class.
If you join a waitlist, there will be no charge to you until a space has become available and you have accepted it.
Cancellations at least 14 days prior to the beginning of class will be refunded.
Cancellations made 14 or fewer days before the beginning of class will be rescheduled and placed in the next available class.
As each class builds on what was learned the week before, it is imperative to attend all classes. That said, we understand that life, illness, and emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your class. Every effort will be made to provide a one time makeup before your next regularly scheduled class. If your emergency will keep you out longer than 2 classes (or prohibits you from attending a makeup) you will be rescheduled to the next available class. You will be given the option of joining that class at the same point you left the first one, or starting over at week one to refresh and retaking the entire course (at no additional charge to you.)
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: Safety is paramount. While I live onsite and would be able to hold class regardless of road conditions, we absolutely do not want anyone placing themselves at risk to attend class. If there happens to be a snow or ice event the day of your class, we will skip that night, and make it up by adding on another week at the end. That decision will be made and communicated to you at least 3 hours before the scheduled start of class.
Seams Simple Sewing is a welcoming place for everyone. Please treat your classmates (and your instructor) with respect and kindness. We have no tolerance for bullying, aggressive behavior, hateful language, discrimination of any kind, or harassment.
